Full Papers submissions are now CLOSED.

We thank all authors for their submissions, and also all review committee members for their contributions to the process.

Submission Guidelines

All paper submissions must follow the instructions listed below and be submitted online by 23:59 (CET), 15 April 2024. 

  • Each person may present only one paper at the conference
  • Full paper submission is open to invited and accepted abstract authors
  • Papers should be between submit a paper (4 (min) – 10 (max), A4)pages including figures and images (excluding title block and keywords)
  • The use of abbreviations and acronyms should be kept to a minimum
  • All submissions should be formatted on the provided IASS2024 paper template
  • Notification will be emailed only to the submitting author

In the submission system:

  • Indicate the corresponding author (address used for all correspondence)
  • Indicate the presenting author (each presenting author may only present one paper at IASS 2024)
  • Indicate whether you intend to apply for the 22nd Hangai Prize (if yes – also submit the Hangai Prize Form)

Key Dates

  • Abstract submission system opening: 1 December 2023
  • Abstract submission deadline: 21 January 2024
  • Notifications on Abstracts: 25 February 2024
  • Full Paper submission deadline: EXTENDED to 15 April 2024 – 23:59 CET (Zurich, CH)
  • Notification of Papers: expected May 21, 2024
  • Instructions for Accepted Authors
  • Final – fully formatted – submission of PDF Paper for symposium: July 1, 2024

Review Information

  • Reviews of Full Papers will be undertaken by the IASS 2024 Scientific Committee
  • Reviews for the 22nd Hangai Prize will be made by the Hangai Prize Committee – please review the guidelines on the Hangai Prize webpage.
  • Corresponding author will be notified on the decision of the review committee mid May 2024 (date changed with submission extension)
  • Notification will be emailed to the corresponding author only
  • Working Group Leaders will inform accepted paper authors on Short or Long Presentation invitations
